Well, we’ve begun the weekend of our next church launch! Enjoyed another great night praying outside in the snow – it’s so exciting to see the passion & promise on the faces of those God’s called to be part of this next chapter. I’m also grateful for all of those that are starting a new chapter in Hamtramck. We truly are “ONE church, 2 locations”.

Speaking of ‘church’, something jumped out to me tonight…

“Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything He does and says is designed to bring the best out of her” Ephesians 5:26 MSG

Christ gave ALL of Himself for the church. His desire is that we would be holy. There are many churches seeking to be “hip” without being “holy” – to be honest, it won’t work. Sure, we want to be relevant but IF it requires compromising our character – forget it! Only Jesus can bring out our best – so, we must do whatever it takes to get Jesus into us more and more and MORE! Keep in mind that, ultimately, we (you and I) are His church – so, don’t think of a place but a person. Look in the mirror and honestly surrender to God’s best. IF we do this as individuals, there’s no way we can fail as the body of Christ!

Don’t wait for the launch this weekend – launch yourself into HIM right now!
