What Faith Can Do.

What Faith Can Do.

Jan 01

Yesterday (last year) as I worked out, I was listening to the new Kutless worship album “It is Well”… I love combining praise, worship & prayer into my workouts! It makes the time go by faster and develops me spiritually not just physically. Well today, as I rocked the elliptical machine, I was thinking about all the things God did in 2009 – it was an intense, crazy, roller-coaster ride – filled with exhilarating highs and terrifying lows. It also had amazing miracles & blessings! At times, I was so uncertain about what God was doing in and through my life – soul-searching questions filled my heart: did I blow it? when will the answer come? am I in His perfect will? … so many questions. Yet, IF I learned anything last year it was: TRUST FAITH. You may not always feel it, see it, hear it or know it but you can trust God! He’s faithful!! And, when you allow faith to win, you can’t lose!

So, what does all of this have to do with Kutless & working out? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m getting to that! As I was praying & sweating through my workout, this song began to play – it destroyed me (in a good way). By the end, I was crying big tears & shouting thanks to God! It was cool…

So, I thought I’d share the song &  lyrics with you to help you grow some faith on day 1 of 2010! Turn up the volume, hit the play button & enjoy!

I’m praying God continues to grow my faith (and yours) – we’ve got big things to do this year!

… ended strong | starting stronger, Chilly

Last night I was asking the same question of what did I learn this past year. And it was to “Never Graduate.” Not only from your message from the Schooled series, but from graduating X-Min this past June. It helped me grow so much this past summer and extend my comfort zone this fall. And I want to continue having this mindset in me throughout this next year and more. Thank you so much for sowing into others and myself this past year.

  3. Glad you had a great, and challenging 2010. I think we might have been on the same rollercoaster ride? Keep up the great work Chilly!
