Scientifically God!

In science we have been reading only the notes to a poem; in Christianity we find the poem itself. C.S. Lewis

There’s so much more to our relationship with Christ than the world can possibly begin to understand. To grasp it is to experience it… many peer through their scientific, man-made, telescopes in an attempt to better understand and ultimately define what & who we are – the problem is, they are looking through the wrong end of the telescope… or is that a mircroscope?!

Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; no one does good! God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if there is even one with real understanding, one who seeks for God. Psalm 53:1-2

I love science… within it I find the vision & works of my creator. It doesn’t prove my God exists, He doesn’t require science for that. His whisper is enough.

I love God! chilly

‘Lord, let us grasp this truth’.

I read an article yesterday, which I can’t fully recall now, that was some kind of God vs Science thing. Those articles annoy me because they assert that I’m some kind of cultural anomaly.

In fact, the comment section was worse than the article; I remember instantly regretting breaking my rule of not reading comments.

“His whisper is enough.”

I’ve recently been re-introduced to the difference between understanding and believing. I still have to remind myself that understanding doesn’t determine belief.

Science is just our understanding of God’s creation. I don’t have to understand the sovereignty of God to believe that it’s real! I don’t have to understand how God is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, eternal and infinite… I need only trust and believe that He is!

I’m thanking Jesus for you and your family… today and everyday!

Yesterday, read a list of references to technology in the Bible. The first one referred to Genesis 1 and how God spoke and the world was created. The comment read, “God has a technique but requires no technology.”

Wow! Thanks for reminding us how great our God is! I’ll look for HIM!

We rented “Angels & Demons” last night (SCANDALOUS!) and Professor Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) had a quote in regard to science and religion: “two different languages telling the same story…”

I really like that “His whisper is enough…”
